Graduated in Industrial Design from the School of Fine Arts of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro – UFRJ. Master in Production Engineering from COPPE-UFR and PhD in Product Design from the Royal College of Art in London, United Kingdom, supported CNPq. Post-Doc from the National Museum – UFRJ; Post-Doc from Deakin University in Australia. Researcher and Professor at the Department of Arts and Design of the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, where he coordinates the BIODESIGN Laboratory. Technologist at the Industrial Design Division of the National Institute of Technology, an agency of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation – MCTI; PQ/DT Researcher at CNPq and Scientist of Our State at FAPERJ.
He is the father of Alice and Lucca.
